It took us 24 months to do it but we finally got our revenge on Ayr for the quarter final defeat last season to lift the Benson and Hedges Cup for the third time, the first team in history to do so. My name is Nick Foreman. I was born on July 11th 1978 in Aldershot in Hampshire. I moved to Nottingham in April 1984 and have lived there ever since. Currently studying for a degree at Cardiff University. I play ice hockey for the Cardiff Titans (See link below for more details) | |||||||||||||||||||||||

In December 1999, the Nottingham Ice Stadium which has stood in the same place for the best part of 60 years will be demolished to make way for a new ice sports training facility. The good news is that the Panthers will get a new home. | Across the road a new 10,000 seater arena is being built and will become the home of the Panthers going into the next Millenium. It will become the headquarters for the British Ice Hockey Association and will be the home of the Great Britain Ice Hockey Team. It's a shame to see the old place go but since it soon become impossible to compete with the likes of Manchester and Sheffield in the attendance stakes then the move is for the best. Lets hope the atmosphere can be recreated at the new arena and that Nottingham will remain the most intimidating place to play in the Superleague.
